JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT has hit back at the media for criticizing recent bikini photographs of her showing the star in a less than flattering light. The newly-engaged Hewitt was snapped in her black two-piece swimsuit last week. The Ghost Whisperer star's figure soon became the subject of ridicule on many celebrity blogs. And the 28-year-old is angry at all the unwanted attention focused on her backside, because although she is happy with her figure, it puts young girls under more pressure over their weight.
In a post on her own website, she says, "I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image… "Like all women out there should, I love my body." Hewitt announced her engagement to Scottish actor Ross MCCall last week
