Larry Birkhead had a bunch of pals over his house last Thursday to watch Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People of 2007 -- because he thought he was going to be picked for the top slot.According to the New York Daily News, Anna Nicole Smith's baby daddy had been approached by A-B-C to be one of Walters' candidates, so when nine of the 10 names were leaked the day of the show, he just assumed that he was Walters' top dog -- and arranged for the dinner party-slash-coronation. He and his crew were more than a little dissapointed when Walters unveiled Harry Potter author J-K Rowling as her fascinating pick.
