GENE SIMMONS is the latest celebrity to sign up for a guest role on Ugly Betty. The Kiss frontman is rumoured to be playing the father of Mode magazine receptionist Amanda, but has refused to confirm exactly what his role will entail.He says, "I'm shooting Ugly Betty - not the character, the show. Can't tell you just yet who I'm playing or what it's about. "But it might give you a chuckle."
