In a diary chronicling the last days of his life, Heath Ledger discusses having dinner with Jack Nicholson in London, hitting a New York hotspot and choking down a banana-nut muffin from one of his favorite New York delis as his last meal.
The diary will appear in the upcoming Esquire as "The Last Days of Heath Ledger." Just one more thing -- it's fiction. The article was penned by writer Lisa Taddeo, who was assigned to write a story about the actor's last days -- and decided to write it in his voice. The magazine's editor tells the New York Times that the article won't be mentioned on the issue's cover because "I purposely didn't want it to be seen as exploitative in any way."
