This Weekend At The Box Office

It's beginning to look a lot like ... Halloween. The vampire flick 30 Days of Night, scared up the biggest numbers at the weekend box office, opening with $16 million.

Last week's number one movie, Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?, slipped to second place with $12.1 million. The Game Plan came in third with $8.1 million. Michael Clayton, starring George Clooney, was in fourth with $7.1 million.

Ben Affleck's directing debut, Gone Baby Gone, opened in fifth place with $6 million. The weekend's other big opener, Rendition, starring Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal, debuted in ninth with $ 4.17 million.
