Weekend Box Office

from box office report...
Nicolas Cage
added more gold to his treasure chest as National Treasure: Book of Secrets was the number-one movie for a third straight weekend. The sequel, starring Cage as a history buff searching for a lost city of gold, raked in 20-point-two-million dollars between Friday and Sunday, raising its total to 171-million -- just two-mil shy of the gross of 2004's National Treasure.

The weekend's only new wide release, the horror film One Missed Call, opened in fifth with 13-point-five-million dollars.

The weekend's three other holdovers were separated by only 300-thousand bucks. Will Smith's zombie thriller I Am Legend climbed from third to second with 16-point-three-million dollars. Its gross now stands at 228-point-seven-million. The teen-pregnancy comedy Juno jumped from fifth to third with 16-point-two-million, followed by Alvin and the Chipmunks in fifth with an even 16 million.

personal note...go see Juno, if you havent, it is an awesome movie.
