Britney Spears performance on the VMAs spiked ratings for MTV and has landed her on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week. The VMA ratings have been down four years in a row and they were up 23% this year!
There are some that suggest Britney knows exactly what she is doing, an insider is quoted as saying "Maybe it wouldn't work for other people, but it works for her."
