Former AMERICAN IDOL contestant JESSICA SIERRA has been arrested for assault and drug possession - less than two weeks after she was sentenced to a year's probation for a separate incident.
She is alleged to have caused a disturbance at Florida's Full Moon Saloon in Ybor City early on Saturday morning, and was taken into custody by local authorities after refusing to leave the bar on cops' orders. Sierra was charged with felony counts of possession of cocaine and battery, in addition to two misdemeanors: disorderly intoxication and obstructing or opposing an officer.
According to the police report, the arresting officers wrote: "As the defendant was taken into custody, she attempted to push away and flee the scene." She is currently being held at the Orient Road Jail with no bail.
